What is it?

MATHOOL is an online and offline javascript application powered by REDUCE computer algebra system, JSXGraph and other open source javascript programs devoted to scientific calculations and graphic visualization.

Software included

MATHOOL makes a heavy use of other open source javascript objects.
First of all REDUCE, a Computer Algebra System that dates back to the sixties developed by Anthony C. Hearn and others in lisp, ported to Java by Arthur C. Norman and then to Javascript by Ted Kosan.
Other program used are: dhtmlx for the GUI interface, MathJax to display math formulae, JSXGraph to plot function graphs, codemirror to edit scripts and PEGjs to parse math strings.
